Workplace Administrator - Clinical Services Canterbury - Oranga Tamariki

Applications are invited from experienced people with excellent office skills to the position of Workplace Administrator at Clinical Services Canterbury. As an employee of Clinical Services, Oranga Tamariki, you will support our Oranga Tamariki Psychologists and Specialist Child Interviewers in their provision of on-site specialist psychological and therapeutic services. You will get to work in a specialist unit that helps ensure positive outcomes for children and young people who have experienced abuse.

What you will do?
- Be responsible for all the administration needs of your Psychologist and Specialist Child Interviewer colleagues, directly support the Leadership team, and provide remote support to other teams at times; a total team of 14-15 staff throughout the South Island.
- Liaise with Oranga Tamariki Social Work sites, Multiagency partners, and other stakeholders
- Work with various cultural groups and people from different backgrounds
- Coordinate, process and maintain all administration functions, word processing, stationery and printing, receipting referrals, dealing with enquiries, filing, ordering, reception services and record keeping in accordance with Oranga Tamariki policies and practices
- Operate and ensure on-going maintenance and upkeep of all communication equipment and systems, including photocopies, TRIM, mail, filing and contact lists.
- Greet clients as they arrive and inform staff
- Deal with critical scenarios in a calm, professional manner
- Assist with on-site health, safety and security compliance systems and training as appropriate
- Demonstrated work experience in administration
- Confidence and experience using Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and Word and technical capacity to quickly learn Oranga Tamariki's digital information and management systems such as CYRAS and TRIM
- Excellent attention to detail with effective organisation and prioritisation skills
- A bright personality, initiative, a good level of resilience to work in this unique environment, and a confidential and proactive approach
- Great relationship skills with the ability to work as part of a team and add support as and where needed
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt to your audience
- A positive outlook and supporting nature
- An understanding of Te Reo would be an advantage
- A salary range between $55,096 - $60773 (Band up to $67,870) depending on experience
