The Key Account is responsible for developing medium to long-range sales plans and preparing strategies to protect, grow, and diversify the relationship with a defined group of existing customers. Identifying and managing interactions with assigned group of existing customers to identify cross/up and repeat sales opportunities while achieving profitable sales growth at customers for the Mars business. This role is expected to maintain strong relationships & best execute customer plans that deliver objectives of; revenue, growth, profit, product/assortment, everyday shelving, merchandising, pricing, promotions, and seasonal merchandising.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop partnership with customers to encourage a win/win relationship in order to achieve Mars and the customers category objectives.
- Create and execute customers solutions of profitable sales growth, placement and shelving, merchandising & pricing, that achieves customer objectives, category leadership and company objectives
- Full responsibility for the P&L and implementation of the activity customer’s plan, including sales & marketing programs presentation on retailer sites.
- Influence customers to implement solutions through fact-based presentations that deliver results that are beneficial for both customer and company.
- Complete new product launches with timely and effective execution to maximize customer impact
- Negotiate and execute all agreed solutions with its customers
- Manage customers trade funds that complies with internal and external requirements and continually improve effectiveness of spending
- Driving our perfect store and enabling the whole sales organization to drive excellence in execution leading also the cooperation with rest internal stakeholders:
- Implementation of effective and accurate sales forecast.
- Presenting to customers outcomes based on the market data.
- Regular monitoring of competitive environment with proposals for countermeasures.
- Cooperate with rest KAM team
