Hospital Attendant/Maintenance Officer [Nigeria]


 

Key Role & Responsibilities

  • Cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping and waxing floors.
  • Refilling supplies, such as toilet paper, hand sanitizer and hand wash.
  • Cleaning spills, window blinds and bathrooms.
  • Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed.
  • Adheres to all hospital rules, regulations and standards.
  • Any other assignment as may be required.

Additional Responsibilities Admin Officer– Optical Centre

  • Analysis and summary of daily income sheet.
  • Updating of the stock inventories e.g. drugs and frames under the Supervision of the Optometrist on ground.
  • Lodgment of cash and confirmation of transfers.
  • Maintenance and cleaning of the facility.
  • Updating the database for in-patients and outreach records.
  • Registration of patients.
  • Reporting of maintenance / repairs of facility and equipment to the Chief Operating Officer.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Diploma or its equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ logistics or admin experience
  • Knowledge or experience of standard logistics procedures and practices required.
  • Demonstrates a high level of initiative
  • Ability to multitask and deal with stressful situations
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and customers
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

  • The role is based in Surulere,Lagos
  • Responsibilities and job descriptions may be refined with changing business needs.
