UABOS Turkey LN: Freight Handler/Driver

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for assigned on base pick up and deliveries in a timely manner.
• Repair broken unaccompanied housing furniture as needed.
• Provide customer service in a courteous and professional manner.
• Follow AFI procedures to care for furnishings and warehouse stocking.
• Assist warehouseman as needed.
• Follow all safety guidelines/procedures.
• Responsible, but not limited to maintaining assigned work area, vehicles, break area, shower/changing area clean and safe.
• Utilize lawn maintenance equipment necessary to maintain the lawns around the warehouse.
• Perform tree and shrub trimming, policing debris throughout the areas and equipment within these common areas.
• Mop, dust, and clean common areas and equipment within these common areas.
• Operate vacuum cleaner, carpet cleaner, and water pressure cleaning equipment.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs and up to 100lbs with assistance
• Able to Stand, Walk, Push, Pull, Squat, Bend, and Reach
• Able to go up and down stairs (where applicable)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Preferred:

• Experience in carpentry is preferred.

Qualifications:

• Turkish Citizenship
• Must have High School or Vocational High School Diploma
• Capable to speak, read, write, and understand English Language “Minimum Level 1”
• Fulfilled Turkish Military obligation
• Capable of obtaining a Turkish security clearance
