- Conception and validation of mechanical design for water and wastewater facilities,
- Detailed mechanical engineering together with process engineers,
- Coordinating the engineering process with civil engineering and all other disciplines,
- Specifying mechanical equipment for procurement,
- Selection of suppliers together with procurement team, and negotiation of technical terms and guarantees,
- Technical lead in procurement process for mechanical equipment,
- Technical lead for subcontracting of installation works,
- Factory tests and site inspections,
- Supervision of installation at site,
- Commissioning of plants, taking over.
Qualifikationen
- Technical college or university degree in mechanical engineering or similar discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in plant engineering and construction.
- Experience in site supervision and commissioning.
- Experience in design & build (Fidic) Contracts and/or EPC turnkey projects.
- Working language is English, German and/or French are a plus.
- Readiness to business trips and assignments for several months.
- Passion for engineering in an interdisciplinary and intercultural setup.
