(Lead) Offshore Service Technician / Electrician (m/f/d) [Germany]


 

For an upcoming offshore project starting in July 2023 until April 2025 for OWF Baltic Eagle we are looking for several

Offshore Service Technician / Electrician (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

  • Preventive maintenance of Transition Pieces and Monopiles including Bolt Tension
  • Small electrical works (low voltage) including change of a lamps, fuses, relays in a switchgear, wiring and testing according to German regulations
  • Small painting works and small welding, drilling and bolting works
  • Cleaning of secondary and tertiary structures including ladders, handrail, gratings etc.
  • Inspecting offshore installed equipment and structures and maintaining fall arrester, anchor points etc.
  • Crane troubleshooting and mould inspections
  • Assisting to various works in the OSS and in maintenance and commissioning of OSS, Transition Pieces, and Monopiles
  • Executing onshore works on stored Transition Pieces

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed training as an Electrician / Mechanic (m/f/d)
  • Relevant working experience (min. 1 year (offshore)) in a related field
  • Experience with davit crane and hydraulic crane operations (Crane driver training for offshore cranes) are a plus
  • Skills to understand and comprehend technical documentation (e.g. Inspection Test Protocols)
  • Training to inspect and install special equipment (fall arrester, anchor points etc.)
  • Fluent English language skills

Sea Survival incl. Boat Transfer
Working at Heights (Date of issue not older than 1 year acc. to German DGUV rules)
Fire Awareness
Manual Handling

  • EuP (Electrically Trained Person)
  • Offshore Medical (German nationals: AWMF / other nationals: Hardanger Agreement like NOGEPA, OLF, OGUK)

The place of work will be in Sassnitz, Germany or offshore on the OWF Baltic Eagle. Daily shuttles via CTV from Sassnitz and accommodation is provided by us.

You can expect a challenging job in 14/14 rotation mode offshore (German Baltic Sea).
