A position is available for a gardener, 24 hours per week, to join our small team.

This is a physical role, maintaining our resident’s cottage gardens, and keeping our communal areas vibrant and attractive. This opportunity would be perfect for someonewho enjoys working outside, and has a passion for gardening and plants, and an empathy for the elderly.
Key tasks
- Ensure gardens are maintained and presented to a high standard.
- General upkeep of grounds, mowing, weed eating, pruning, weeding, spraying, fertilizing, mulching.
- Operate and maintain irrigation systems
- Planning, planting, and maintenance of garden beds – annuals, perennials, shrubs, and borders.
About you
- Ideally Level 3 Horticultural certificate or 2/3 years of gardening experience.
- Ability to be part of a team or work independently as required
- Physically fit
- Demonstrate effective use of garden equipment.
- Empathy with the elderly.
