The Job
Our Shared Service Centre is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join the team. The role will require you to provide effective administrative support for the business. Key accountabilities will include:
  • Processing invoices
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Support continuous improvement of Accounts Payable tasks within the business
  • Ensuring all supplier payments comply with company policies and procedures
  • Ownership and resolution of queries liaising with company stakeholders and suppliers
The Candidate
Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, stakeholder focused and able to manage a varied workload. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar Accounts Payable role
  • General understanding of office administration within a large organisation Computer literacy with competence across all Microsoft suites, preferably with intermediate to advanced excel skills
  • JDE and OCR scanning experience an advantage
  • Good organisational, communication and time management skills, ability to simultaneously prioritise tasks to achieve business service level agreements
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Team Player and dedication to customer service
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures is an advantage
