New Business Development Manager Custom Manufacturing & Tolling (m/w/d) [Germany]


 

WeylChem International GmbH is the marketing and sales organization of the WeylChem Group and acts as the most important interface between customers and operational units. The company with its 25 employees is based in Frankfurt-Fechenheim and is part of the WeylChem Group, a fast-growing company, being part of a private equity company with a total of around 1,500 employees and a sales volume of approximately 730 million euros.

Your tasks:

  • Co-development of business strategies to accelerate growth of the WeylChem Group of Companies' Custom Manufacturing offering in the target markets, as well as to derives strategy implementation measures with the help of action plans/roadmaps and actively following them up
  • Ensuring that the sustainability value proposition is translated into actions
  • Market observation, analysis and preparation of all necessary information to support the market segment strategies with the aim of improving the understanding of customers unmet needs.
  • Key Account Management, in particular the further development of existing customers and the current offering process
  • New Business Development in the assigned market segments, such as Agrochemicals, Polymers, Paints & Coatings and Additives or developing new market segments and identifying and establishing new customer relationships
  • Preparing quotations and negotiating supply contracts in cooperation with the Commercial Directors and Product Managers of the respective production units.
  • Ensuring that budgeted sales and margin targets are met or exceeded.

Your profile:

  • Technical degree - master's or diploma - in the field of chemistry and at least several years of experience in managing complex international business development activities
  • Wide-ranging of experience in dealing with customers and markets in the agrochemical/polymer/coatings sector
  • Strong communication skills, critical analytical ability paired with a pragmatic, goal-oriented approach to work
  • Confident handling of MS Office products as well as business fluent English
