BorgWarner’s Fuel Systems and Aftermarket business PHINIA is intended to separate from BorgWarner in late 2023.

PHINIA will be a product leader in fuel systems and aftermarket distribution with balanced and synergistic exposure among Commercial Vehicle (CV), Light Vehicle (LV) and Aftermarket end markets, with embedded relationships with global OEMs and a focus on the global vehicle parc.

Job purpose
PHINIA is currently seeking for a dynamic, results-driven individual to serve as Enterprise Architect for our global IT Environment within PHINIA.
This is a unique opportunity to join the PHINIA IT team in an area focusing on the company’s critical business needs of applications, data, infrastructure and architecture. This hands-on position will oversee the governance of PHINIA's technical architecture, build out an industry-leading enterprise architecture function and drive the adoption of next-gen, flexible architecture to enable end-to-end business solutions.
The objective is to progress the leveraging of technology advancements to improve products, processes and services to internal and external clients. PHINIA seeks a true change agent who can elevate the technology platform to the next level in a rapidly changing environment.
Key responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities to standardize technology landscape for improved efficiency, effectiveness, & risk management, while maintaining business responsiveness
  • Define and enforce architecture principles & standards, lead Architecture Review Board and maintain list of approved technologies and identify relevant new technologies
  • Enable the delivery of business outcomes; identify critical deficiencies as well as opportunities for digital transformation; propose solutions
  • Leverage influencing and negotiation skills across the enterprise to enable cost-effective and innovative solutions. Stay abreast of industry trends to be competitive in the market
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the organization's technologies and architectures as well as of the strategic business plans and imperatives
  • Initiate and deliver technology evaluations and recommendations with initiating POCs as needed. Foster innovation through a continuous technology watch and experimentation
  • Collaborate closely with all IT domains (applications & infrastructure) over defining standards and technology roadmaps as well as with IT Security on Compliance policies and guidelines
What we’re looking for
  • 7+ years of IT experience, ideally in business applications, data analytics and infrastructure
  • Broad background in business processes and master data in different domains (e.g., supply chain, manufacturing, planning etc.) ideally in automotive / aftermarket companies
  • Strong architecture skills – delivering and presenting solution architectures using conceptual, logical, and physical views using the Enterprise Framework
  • Leadership experience managing architecture engagements within large complex organizations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and oral). Ability to explain in business-friendly terms complex and technical details
  • Enterprise integration technologies experiences from data source to ingestion to replication to data lake to data cleansing and preparation to presentation layer
