Job Description
- To liaise / communicate with accounting teams in 13 countries.
- To handle GAAP conversion (from local GAAP to IFRS).
- To create consolidation PKGs (For the area which requires advanced accounting knowledge).
- To support/review the preparation of consolidation PKGs for subsidiaries.
- To perform data analysis.
- To handle matters related to local statutory audit in each country.
- To handle questions/issues raised by headquarter and external auditors, and communicate to subsidiaries.
- To provide consultation of accounting matters and accounting standards updates to subsidiaries.
- To plan and conduct workshop/seminar for accounting teams in each country.
- To create and propose improvement plans for accounting procedures for subsidiaries.
- To perform and follow up improvement activities for subsidiaries.
- To report to managers or upper management. (for Assistant Manager level).
- To supervise assistant manager (for Manager level).
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 5-10 years of relevant work experience, in both audit and financial accounting
- Fluent in English and local language
- IFRS and local accounting standards knowledge
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Being action-oriented and having the ability to work independently and committed to continuous personal development
- Ability to reach high-quality standards, attention to detail, and respect deadlines
